• Loan and Grant Applications

Community Futures Development Corporation of North and Central Hastings and South Algonquin is pleased to encourage applications for the Eastern Ontario Development Program (EODP). The following program elements are designed to assist local community and economic development.

• Local Initiatives - Maximum $10,000/project to assist incremental community economic development projects.
• Community Capacity Building – Will incrementally address local needs and priorities through collaborative partnerships leading to job creation, diversification and enhanced competitiveness.
• Skills Development – Reimbursement of up to 50% of employer training costs to a maximum of $5,000/employee and $25,000/business.
• Access to Capital - Interest free, term loans to encourage the retrofit or façade improvement of vacant, under-utilized industrial, commercial or retail properties.
• Youth Internship – Community Futures will consider applications from potential employers to aid in funding for retention and attraction (employment) of recent youth graduates in or related to their field of education.
• Business Planning - To support existing businesses in developing business/export/marketing plans.
