Medical Centre Team Accepts CF Help Hastings Prince Edward Member of Parliament Daryl Kramp announced two contributions to the Tri-Area Medical Centre on September 4, 2008. Through the Eastern Ontario Development Program, MP Kramp joined Community Futures members in presenting $10,000 to representatives of the Tri-Area Medical Centre Funding Committee.
In addition, he announced a $300,000 loan through Community Futures.
“Industry Canada/FedNor and Community Futures have identified this project as a high priority for our community and have approved a loan with particularly favourable terms to give the project an additional financial boost”, said MP Kramp.
The loan is one of the first ’social enterprise’ loans that Community Futures has made.
