The Centre Hastings Park received a donation of $40,000 to the skatepark project.

Vice-Chair Rob Price, Directors David Cronhielm and Aubrey Johnson and General Manager Bob Cloes from Community Futures Development Corporation of North and Central Hastings and South Algonquin joined Daryl Kramp, Member of Parliament for Prince Edward – Hastings in making a presentation of $40,000 to the skatepark project. These funds are expressly earmarked for the continued development of environmental projects in the park and for the tourist booth that has been constructed in the park.

These funds will surely help to continue to grow the Centre Hastings Park into a prime “Green” destination in Eastern Ontario.
