BANCROFT, Ontario March 6, 2009 - MP for Prince Edward Hastings Daryl Kramp joined Directors of the Community Futures Development Corporation to present a $5,000 Eastern Ontario Development grant to Community Care North Hastings Chair Hugh Baker.

The Local Initiative grant was presented to develop a Sustainability Model Green Re-Use facility diverting for resale reusable items from the Municipal dump and creating potential revenue for community organizations.

“Public/private partnerships are a potential solution to both environmental and economic concerns”, said MP Kramp. “I understand the findings may be of interest to several local municipalities.
